She received her Ph.D. from Columbia University and has taught art history and critical theory there. Mr. Adjaye is an Architect who has designed the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York and the Nobel Peace Centre in Oslo. He also designed the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington D.C. that will open in 2015.
